Dearest Lamebook visitors,

I am not spamming lamebook.  It’s an troll/impersonator who is either 12 or just extremely disturbed.  PLEASE e-mail lamebook and complain.  I have and it’s gotten nowhere.  And while I appreciate the blog traffic, I don’t appreciate the absurd, obtuse lamebook comments left on “my behalf” and am quite sure that others are tiring of it also.  To lamebook readers who are NOT impersonating me, I apologize for whatever has drawn this freak’s attention.

Sincerely,

Ms.Terri

I’m old. What’s Lamebook? Or are you just poking fun at Facebook? WAIT. How did I get so old that a new social networking has happened without my knowledge? OH MY GOD. I’M OLD.

    • Ms. Terri Says:

Ha! I’m old too. Lamebook is a blog that features facebook postings that are particularly stupid, funny or in bad taste, including, but not limited to: photos of toddlers’ first poopie in the potty, photos of a full-on water birth and teens’ drugscapades and subsequent parental comments on said drugscapades posts.

  2. And someone is pretending to be YOU on that site? Yikes!!

  3. Jonathan Says:

Hi Ms. Terri, I am one of the admins at Lamebook.com. First off, I apologize that our site has resulted in spamming on your blog. Not cool. It’s hard for us to find out exactly who is posting as you, because unfortunately if one person does it, 10 people seem to do it. But just a tip … It looks like you are using WordPress for your blog. If you are in your administrative dashboard, you can see the IP address of those spamming you. Note the address, then click Settings, then Discussion. There you can paste the IP addresses into a box (then click Save) and they will no longer be able to comment on your site. Again I apologize for this inconvenience! Thanks for reading Lamebook.

      Jonathan:

You guys don’t have access to viewing IP addresses of your users? Shouldn’t that be a given on a website such as yours? Ms. Terri is being harassed on her own blog as a result of this impersonator. I would think your website would take preventative measures to ban users should harassment become an issue because eventually, you’re going to have a much bigger problem when someone takes it too far.

  4. JFC Says:

Jesus Christ, you fucking skank, stfu. No one wants to read your fucking stupid blog.

  5. Sherri Says:

Yikes. I don’t quite understand how/why this whole thing is happening. Do you belong to this Lamebook site? If so, it seems like you should delete your account. Why would someone want to spam that site with your blog? So confused!!!

    • Ms. Terri Says:

I go visit the site, because it’s funny, and I used to comment, but I won’t be anymore. They don’t have any sign up, which might help to solve this little ‘issue’. But I don’t get why the lamebook guy doesn’t block the people who troll. I mean, it’s not like it’s hard to figure out which one is the real ‘me’!

  6. Ms. Terri Says:

I lied. I can’t stay away from lamebook. I like it, despite the clones. LOVE all of you!
